ABOUT TOM SWEET

Tom Sweet is an informed, warm and fuzzy, personality filled entertainer and commentator. He loves his country and the opportunities afforded him by it. He feels that the current administration is working diligently toward limiting those opportunities in an attempt to increase the Governament's role in everyday life. He possesses entreprenurial spirit, hence the hatching of what shall become big time radio. For the last 20 years, he has made his living primarily as an entertainer. Tom also owns a small bit of commercial/residential real estate. In the past, Tom has flirted with careers in golf and education (holds an Education degree and surprising to everyone, graduated magna cum laude- He is licensed to teach US History in two states)- and before relocating to FL, owned and operated a computer/music store. He coached high school basketball for five years and can knock down the three-pointer with the best of them.
MORE: Tom, after graduating college, accepted a Grad-Assistantship in the History Dept at his college. He, with the encouragement of his Professors/Mentors, was to complete his Masters Program, then attend Kent State University to get a Doctorate, after which he was to come back to the college and teach. It was after one semester of graduate school, that another faculty member, in another department, who knew Tom fairly well, sat him down to discuss these plans. It was at this time that Tom became aware of how aggressively the college was pursuing Affirmative Action. He was told verbatim: "If you're not black or a women, there is no chance of that happening." Tom researched the University's policies, and agreed with this faculty member's ascertation of the situation, and dropped out of Graduate School as a one man protest. It sealed the deal for his conservative outlook.

Tom says :"I believe in the institutions of self reliance, the free market, entrepreneurship, and accountability. The degree of government involvement (or interference) is inversely proportional to what is left of these institutions. I've decided to use these institutions to help PRESERVE them. America is also about FREE SPEECH, so LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD and call in. Let's keep these institutions from turning into "ideas". "
